I don’t walk into your place of work, pick up the product that you have slaved hours over, bid you good day and stroll out the door. That’s just not kosher. Views and Thoughts

Again not wishing to be greedy but the views and thoughts expressed within the modernpics domain are mine, they are not of the companies and individuals that I represent or operate under the request of. So, if it sounds sarcastic, don’t take it seriously. If it sounds dangerous, Do not try it not even at home. And if it offends you, well maybe you would be better off with the kittens .

For those of you that can stand my poor humour, bad wit and just diabolic grammar,  jump right in and tell me what you like, what you don’t and lets talk about cool photos.

For Free!

Hallelujah, praise the lord, the digital revolution is here. Film is dead and you no longer have to Dev, pictures are free!!!! Well not quite, film died but equipment costs have spiraled upwards and product life cycles have crashed. My camera bodies alone cost me just under  £11.00 a day whether they are used or not, that’s before you factor in the rest of my gear and any breakage’s. I am not a high dollar lawyer or an over paid senior manager who is in this for the self gratification of seeing their name in lights print, I am a photographer, nothing more nothing less. This IS my job, it’s not a little bit of pocket money on the side.

So before you ask for something for nothing, think – could you work for free and still be able to live???? I understand the budgets are tight and money is being stretched but don’t insult me by asking for something for nothing, but do contact me  and lets see what we can work out.

Thanks for understanding. I hope you enjoy my work, leave me a comment or two but also let me know what you think and don’t forget to sign up !
